About Connie

Connie Aburano, RN, LAc is a skilled practitioner who powerfully moves energy through the use of appropriate energy techniques, including Chinese Energetic Reflexology, Acupuncture and other adjunct therapies. She graduated from the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine.

As an acupuncturist and energy worker, Connie works in private practice in downtown Chicago and the suburbs. She has been in the health care field for over 25 years as a nurse at Evanston Northwestern Hospital. She serves on the Board of Acupuncture for the State of Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation; is a past president of the Illinois Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine; is a past member of CAM (Complementary and Alternative Medicine) Education Advisory Committee for Rush University College of Nursing; and is a past president of the Illinois State Acupuncture Association.

Connie finds that spirituality brings a tremendously powerful depth to the healing work. Her spiritual training and work with the Warriors of Peace, Pranic Healing and Healing Touch have ignited and strengthened her spiritual and energetic healing abilities.

Connie has spoken publicly for 10 years at health conferences, on webinars, in community settings, and at health and healing centers.
